Matt Mills McKnight is a freelance photographer and journalist who lives in Sandpoint, Idaho and travels throughout the Pacific Northwest and Northern Plains.

He graduated from San Francisco State University in 2009, with a degree in Journalism where he focused his work specifically on visual storytelling.

He was invited to attend both the Eddie Adams Workshop XXI and the 60th Missouri Photo Workshop in St. James, MO.

A few of his clients/credits/contributions include; The Wall Street Journal, Reuters Pictures, High Country News, Wired.com, Associated Press, Seattle Business Magazine, NPR, The Spokesman-Review, Center for Investigative Reporting, and Sandpoint Magazine.

For select assignments, Matt is represented by Getty Global Assignment. Portions of his archive are syndicated through Redux Pictures.
